Less than 6 months to go!

The date is now booked and come February 4th next year we take off to the first leg of our adventure. Sri Lanka. We go via Singapore and will be in beautiful Sri Lanka for the first two weeks of our trip.

So what have we got planned in Sri Lanka.

Visiting the Elephant Orphanage where some of the baby elephants are actually smaller than the kids.

Going on safari and hopefully seeing a Leopard at the Yale West National Park.

One of the most amazing train rides in the world from Babulla through to Kandy. It traverses the old Celon Tea fields.

Soaking up the amazing atmosphere in Kandy, in the centre of the country. Looking over the oak etc the temple of the tooth that houses Buddha’s tooth.

Climbing the ancient rock city of Sigirya, with its fortifications right at the top.

Visiting the ancient city of Anuradhapura and Polonnaruwa with its old royal palace and Bathing pools.

The beautiful northern beaches of Trincomalee, that were not open to tourist for many years due to the civil war within the country.

I am sure that the two weeks will fly by. Hopefully the kids will have an amazing time in a completely different environment. We will keep everyone updated n this website, on our Family Adventure Channel YouTube channel and on Facebook.

Then after two weeks it’s on to our next country. India, with all of its amazing culture and heritage. Many adventures await and we can’t wait to share them with you and hopefully inspire you to have your own adventures.
